Elena Tanou, Vice-President of Top Kinisis Travel Public Ltd

A prominent and highly respected business professional, Ms. Tanou is the Vice-President of Top Kinisis Travel Public Ltd over the past twenty years. Ms. Tanou holds BA in Travel and Tourism Management and is an active proponent of the private sector development in the Cyprus economy.

Ms. Tanou served as Vice President of the Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of the Nicosia Tourism Board. She is the Vice President of the Cyprus Integrity Forum and on the Board of the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA).

She is Vice President of the International Chambers of Commerce in Cyprus and is a highly respected activist on matters of commercial transparency and entrepreneurship. Ms. Tanou is former President of the Cyprus Federation of Business and Professional Women, the Cyprus European Ambassador of Women Entrepreneurs and a recipient of the prestigious Madam Figaro Business Woman of the Year Award in 2012. She serves on the Board of the Business Advisory Council of the University of Cyprus and the University of Nicosia.

She is a founding member of the Rotary Club Nicosia Aspelia since 1995 and held the position of Deputy District Governor for the 2452 region 2017/18. She is also on the Board of Directors of World Vision. Recently elected for two years term as the President of “The Phoenicians Route” by the Council of Europe.


Takis Klerides, Chairman, Cyprus Economy and Competitiveness Council

Takis Klerides,is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. He was a senior partner of KPMG Cyprus until he was appointed Minister of Finance of the Republic of Cyprus in 1999, a post he held until February 2003.

During his ministerial term he introduced a major Tax Reform in 2001 to  harmonize Cyprus tax legislation  with  the  EU, through  which  Cyprus managed to  close the  chapters  on Taxation (including Shipping) and Competition.

Since 2003 he is a non-executive Director in publicly quoted and private companies in Cyprus and overseas, including participation in corporate governance committees. Serving on the Board of Directors of companies listed on LSE, regulated by European Central Bank and regulated by Insurance Commissioner Cyprus. His main interests are in banking, finance, insurance and shipping. Since June 2018 he is the Chairman of the Council of Economy and Competitiveness.

On the non-professional activities Takis is the Vice Chairman of Karaiskakio Foundation.

Theofanis Mylonas, Chairman Board of Directors & Chief Executive Officer, Eurobank Asset Management M.F.M.C.

Mr. Mylonas is Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Eurobank Asset Management M.F.M.C. He is also the President of the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association. Before that, he was Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer. Within Eurobank, he was Head of Global Markets Trading and member of various investment and other committees. Prior to this, and within Global Markets, he was Assistant General Manager, Co-Head Global Markets Trading. In the past, he had various managerial positions within Global Markets. He has also worked as Head of Fixed Income Trading – Greece, in Treasury Dealing Room of Citibank / Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in Greece and the UK. Mr. Mylonas holds a M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Strathclyde and a high Honours B.Sc. in Business Studies from the University of Buckingham.

Christos Elafros, General Manager & Group Chief Investment Officer, Eurobank Asset Management M.F.M.C.

Mr. Elafros is a General Manager at Eurobank Asset Management M.F.M.C, the Head of the Global investment Advisory Division and the Group Chief Investment Officer of Eurobank.

He started his professional career in the 90’s in the UK as an Investment Risk Researcher and Visiting Lecturer at Cass Business School. He subsequently worked as a Senior Equity Analyst at Telesis Securities, before joining Eurobank in 2001. Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Elafros was the Head of Equity Research at Eurobank Equities, where his team won a number of international survey awards. Among other duties, he served for several years as a member of various key investment committees in asset management units of the Eurobank Group and he is currently the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Eurobank’s Group Private Banking.

Panayiotis Chrysostomou, CFA

Panayiotis Chrysostomou, CFA is currently Head, Institutional Clients at Eurobank Cyprus Ltd, where his primary duties include servicing the Banks’s institutional clients for their investment and banking needs. Prior to that, he was Director at Symmetria F.S. Ltd, an independent financial advisory firm. From 2007 until 2013, he held the position of Fund Manager at CISCO Ltd, Bank of Cyprus Group and before that he worked as an Investment Officer at Universal Life Insurance Public Co. Ltd and as a Senior Analyst at the Investments Department of the MacArthur Foundation in Chicago, US. He holds a BA Honours in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University and an MBA from the University of Illinois, where he studied with a Fulbright scholarship. He is a CFA charterholder and a founding member of the CFA Society of Cyprus, where he served as President, Vice President and Secretary. He is also a member of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA) and holder of CySEC’s Advanced Certification.

Marios Hadjikyriacos, Manager Wealth Management, Eurobank Cyprus

Since starting his career in 1998, Mr. Hadjikyriakos worked in various senior treasury positions in Cyprus and abroad. He was involved in the fields of balance sheet management, wholesale funding, fixed income and derivatives trading, and product structuring and sales.  He joined Eurobank Cyprus in 2007 in the position of Head of Global Markets where he was responsible for managing liquidity and investments as well as for advising clients on risk hedging solutions and investment strategies. Since 2020 he has been heading the Wealth Management division of the Bank.  Mr. Hadjikyriacos holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from Baruch College and an MBA from the University of Cyprus. He is also a holder of Cysec’s advanced certification.

Chris DroussiotisSenior Managing Director Kinisis Ventures LLC

Chris Droussiotis’ training and expertise is in the area of Investment Banking. Possessing over 30 years of experience by working for numerous corporations in various executive management positions at: Bank of America Merill Lynch,  CIBC Oppenheimer, Mizuho Financial Group, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi Trust, UFJ, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Mitsui Nevitt Banking Corporation.

Chris is a former Managing Director, General Manager and the Head of the Leverage Finance, Private Equity Sponsor Group & Structured Finance Department at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) managing a loan portfolio of over $10 billion of large cap and middle market leveraged loans, as well as investments in SPV funds, CLOs and BDCs that are backed by leveraged loans and high yield bonds. 

On April 2018, Chris left SMBC and join Kinisis Ventures Limited (KV), as a Senior Managing Partner. At KV, Chris is responsible with the financial analysis and valuation of start-ups. Recently he obtained a certificate from Columbia University on Blockchain technology which will help KV expand its consulting services to adapt many of the blockchain applications in various industries including fintech, biotech, edutech and shipping.

Chris is also an adjunct Professor for the last 16 years teaching at various college and universities including:

Evgenios Antoniou, CFA, MRICS
Chief Investment Officer, Single Family Office

Evgenios  is a results  oriented  investment professional  with  broad  experience  in Single  and Multi Family Office services, global multi-asset portfolio management, investment advice, client relationship management,  business  development, market  risk  measurement  and  management, equity,  fixed income and derivative valuation. His multiyear experience along with his strong academic background helped  him to develop  an advanced  understanding  of global  financial  markets  and hence  be in a position to advise and assist a number of High Net Worth Individuals, wealthy families, trusts, funds, foundations, insurance companies and pension plans. Evgenios started his career with PwC UK in the Market Risk & Derivative Valuations team and he continued with Morgan Stanley (London) in the Firm Market Risk Department. Evgenios also held senior positions at Bank of Cyprus Group (CISCO Asset Management  and  Fund  Manager  of EuroLife  Ltd).  Most  recently,  he held  the position  of General Manager  at PricewaterhouseCoopers  Investment  Services  (Cyprus)  Ltd.   He is now  the CIO  of a Single Family Office, which operates from Cyprus. Evgenios is a CFA Charterholder  and a qualified RICS Valuation  Chartered  Surveyor  (MRICS).  He obtained  a BSc. in Economics  and Mathematics (First Class Honours) from Bristol University and an MSc. in Mathematical Trading and Finance (Distinction) from Cass Business School.

Harris Poyiadjis, Investment Manager, CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings

Harris Poyiadjis is the Investment Manager of CNP Cyprus Insurance Holdings since July 2017.  He is responsible for the Assets Under Management of the 3 insurance companies within the group (CNP Cyprialife, CNP Asfalistiki and CNP Zois).  Prior to that, he was part of the Fixed Income Portfolio management team (own funds) of Bank of Cyprus PLC for 7 years.  He started his career in 2003 in DEPFA Bank PLC, Nicosia branch serving in a few positions before joining the  Balance Sheet Management team of the bank until 2010.  Mr. Poyiadjis graduated with a BBA from Baruch College, City University of New York NY majoring in Finance and Investments while later he got an MSc in Finance and Banking from Cyprus International Institute of Management. He is also a holder of Cysec’s advanced certification.
